W sekcji „Ludów Azji Środkowej” Zakładu Turkologii i Ludów Azji Środkowej WKAiA UW realizowane są badania i program studiów w zakresie mongolistyki i tybetologii. Badamy kultury ludów mongolskich i tybetańskich, uważając, że kluczem do ich zrozumienia jest język. Idziemy z duchem czasów, od lat uaktualniając naszą ofertę dydaktyczną, unikalną w skali kraju. Studia I stopnia odbywają się w języku polskim, a studia II stopnia w języku angielskim. Współpracujemy z ośrodkami naukowymi w Mongolii i na świecie, a nasi studenci mają możliwość uczestniczenia w rocznym stażu na Mongolskim Uniwersytecie Narodowym w Ułan Batorze.

The Inner Asian Peoples’ section of the Department of Turkic Studies and Inner Asian Peoples within the Faculty of Asian and African Cultures (University of Warsaw) conducts research and offers a study program in Mongolian and Tibetan studies. We study the cultures of the Mongolian and Tibetan peoples, believing that the key to understanding them lies in language. We keep up with the times, updating our educational offer, unique at the national level, for years. Currently, BA studies are held in Polish and MA studies in English. We collaborate with research centers in Mongolia and worldwide. Our students can participate in a one-year internship at the National University of Mongolia in Ulaanbaatar.
